Over Flow Rooms of the future

For those of you who have attended or visited large or growing churches, chances are you've run across the dreaded "Over-flow" room. This is usually a small room located just off the main sanctuary that is used to seat people who show up late or may have small kids. The rooms usually have one or more TV's and maybe even a projector, and the sound is terrible.

For the cutting edge church that wants to leave an impression on those unfortunate souls who show up late, the church should look into providing a "state of the art" overflow room with the following features.

Wide Stereo 3.1 or 5.1 surround sound. It's important to try to make the sound in the overflow sound as much if not better than the live sound in the main auditorium.
3d imaging (they are making great strides in glassless 3D imaging nowadays)
If you recently been paying attention to the 2010 CES expo, you've likely seen the Panasonic 3D camera.
Life size one camera shot of the speaker or minister (this usually requires at least an 10' wide screen.

About the name of the blog...

When people first hear me say "Jesus died for dat ho", it kinda startles them because you usually don't heare "Jesus" and "ho" being used in the same sentence. However, this thought popped into my head after talking with a young lady who was disgusted with the behavior of her half sister. Her half sister was being very sexually premiscuous, and the young lady with whom I was talking to seemed to have a very judgemental attitude towards her half sister. At the end of the conversation, she blurted out something to the effect that "She's a ho!"

Well, not knowing the whole story and not wanting to be judgemental, I wanted her to realize that no matter how she felt about her sister, ho or not, "Jesus died 4 dat ho". We both started laughing, and of course I made a graphic that could be put on cups and T-Shirts. Unfortunately though, I need to redesign the logo since I grabbed the main part of the graphic from iStockPhoto.com.

BTW, for those who don't get it, "Ho" is slang for whore or prostitutes, etc, be they male OR female.

The beginning of another blog

So, this blog will be about more personal things about my day to day life and interactions. I have another blog called "Is It Biblical?" that deals with various doctrines and beliefs that I won't deal with here, although I may refer to those things from time to time. Of course, I will probably be cross-posting a lot of things between the two blogs.

In this blog, I'd like to focus more on technologies that are used in my personal bible study, goals and wishes for church growth in general, and stuff that I like being a Christian or "Christ Follower" as I like to be called.

So if you've subscribed to this blog, feel free to comment and give my you feedback.
